What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and install cygwin.
2. Download libevent-1.4.13, configure, make install
3. Download memcached-1.4.5, configure, make

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

1.4.5, Win-XP (sorry)

I don't think this is supposed to work. the windows support was done
another way. Sorry, closing.
