<br />
If I got it right, the community decided to switch all projects to git<br />
soon (only php-src is missing: <a href="http://git.php.net/" target="_blank"  rel="nofollow">http://git.php.net/</a>). They will also<br />
connect their repositories to github. After that it should be possible<br />
to forge the repository, change something and start a pull-request.<br />
This will then send an email to a group of people who will look<br />
through the changes and give you feedback.<br />
